Special Equipment
For best flavor use cast iron pan
Preparation
-
In a large skillet heat olive oil and add ground venison until browned.
-
Season meat with cumin, chili powder, and nutmeg. (Cumin pulls a lot of flavor out of venison, add more based on desired taste)
-
Salt and pepper meat to taste
-
Before removing the skillet from heat, add the orange juice and stir until just absorbed into meat. (This brings out a sweet flavor and also tenderizes the venison)
-
Remove from heat, spoon meat into corn tortillas, and load up with your favorite toppings!
